Demonstrating strong leadership skills and implementing corporate strategies and programs within the sales team to ensure delivery of top-line growth.
Managing the daily activities of the sales team. Ensuring proper utilization of the time of each salesperson and helping them augmenting conversion ratios. Analyse complex issues and proactively modify working methods to achieve this goal.
Fully optimize the bandwidth of the sales force with respect to the companys flow of leads. This includes playing to the strengths of each team member while assigning leads, so that the overall ratio of conversions is maximized.
Drive the achievement of sales targets through your team. Delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, and also ensuring that areas of under-performance are quickly addressed and rectified.
Adopting and utilizing performance metrics such as KPIs etc. to evaluate the sales teams and provide constructive feedback. Understand training needs and play to the strengths of each resource.
Ensure customer satisfaction through best practices in sales, after sales, and client handling. Deliver positive customer reviews and boost future referral business for the company.
Be responsible and accountable for the work done by team members while also instilling and emphasizing a similar chain of accountability and sense of ownership within your team.
Be the single point of contact for the team. This includes communicating with other department managers to ensure a seamless inter-department workflow, as well as also liaising with other channel partners, suppliers, and aggregators wherever applicable.
